Clinic 1: LP Savani Main Road Adajan Gam, Surat
Clinic 2: Makkai Pool, Nanpura, Surat

One day, Mr. Chetanbhai suddenly felt something like gravel in his food and started experiencing unbearable pain. He immediately rushed to the clinic. His lower left molar was fractured. Since the tooth could not be saved, it had to be extracted. The tooth can be replaced immediately after extraction, but in his case, it needed to be allowed to heal a little, so I asked him to wait for 6-8 weeks.

Chetanbhai has a lot of time shortage. He got busy with his home and professional life and ran out of time to get new teeth. Now after 2 years, he came to the clinic again as he was not eating on the right side. I jokingly said, Sir, he started having trouble eating on the right side so he will understand the value of the left side! He said; Yes Sir! Now this time let me eat from both sides.

On examination, it was found that the bone in the extracted tooth on the left side had decreased a lot. Along with this, there was some decay in the surrounding teeth and on the right side. When I got her CT scan done, it was found that the bone had decreased a lot in its thickness, width and height and it was not suitable for placing an implant. Now, first of all, new bone needed to be created there, which took 6 months to form and the new tooth could be placed only 3 months after the implant was placed.

Due to neglect of oral hygiene, tooth decay and pyorrhea, most people have lost 2-3 teeth by the age of 30-35. Usually, a new tooth should be inserted within 2-6 months of tooth extraction. Delaying treatment only increases its complexity, cost and time. Overall, it has proven to be expensive in all respects.

The irony is that we do not focus on our health first because we are busy earning but later we spend all our savings on health problems. Don't make the same mistake as Chetanbhai, if it is too late then what effect it can have on our mouth and body and why we should get a new tooth as early as possible, we will see some facts in the next article.
